About us
Axelda's story does not begin in a factory, but in the hands of David Axelsson – a man with his feet on the tannery floor and his eyes on the future. Through years of working with leather and sales, a fascination for the unique properties of sheepskin was awakened. What was at first curiosity soon became a driving force. In 2006, Axelda was founded – a Swedish brand with a heart for design, quality and responsibility.
A PASSIONATE HISTORY
Axelda's history starts long before the company. For many years, David Axelsson worked in tanneries and in shoe sales, where his curiosity for sheepskin products grew. Factory visits turned his interest into a passion and in 2006 David started his own design and sales in Sweden. Today, the company develops various types of sheepskin products, but also all other materials such as leather, suede and completely vegan materials with sales in Europe. Careful quality controls of production and chemicals, social responsibility and product development have established Axelda as a significant brand.
WE DON'T SIT STILL
We really love feet. Today, we design, develop and produce sandals, slippers and outdoor shoes with one focus – happy feet. We believe that happy feet make happy customers. We stand and walk an incredible amount and we know what a difference it makes to have the right shoe for the right occasion. But also the right shoe for the right foot. So already at the design stage, we think a lot about the need we know exists, color and shape, what our customers want from Axelda, what is missing on the market, what we can add to the models we already have, how we can improve and refine and develop our products to continue to be relevant and the best choice for our customers.
BIG AND SMALL
We have a wide range. We have something for everyone, young and old. Children, women and men. We like simplicity and want to be a complete supplier in our segment. If you are missing something, let us know, we may have it – otherwise we can always find it.
HOT OR COLD
Now you can find products for all weathers, hot or cold, inside or out. In our wide winter range and outdoor collections, we have continued to work on adding more options than the traditional surf boot. Now you can buy walking-friendly sheepskin boots that are also waterproof – we like that.
